About this act

BackToDylan is a six-piece tribute that brings the magic of Bob Dylan's greatest hits to life with a focus on his finest era — the Rolling Thunder Revue years of 1965 to 1975 — without shying away from his later work. Led by frontman Dan Vanhoudt, the band performs Don't Think Twice It's Alright, Like A Rolling Stone, It Ain't Me Babe, Hurricane, A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall and Knockin' On Heaven's Door in distinctive, self-styled arrangements rather than note-for-note copies — exactly as Dylan himself reinvented his songs on stage. The line-up features Dan Vanhoudt (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Bas van Heel (bass, vocals, keys), Maikel Duijzings (drums), Ruud Gijsen (lap steel, guitar), Linda Koolen (vocals, piano) and Bart Blooze (harmonica) — a tight unit delivering a show full of musical nostalgia and emotion for theatres and festivals.
