About this act
Easy Cure is the first and longest-running tribute to The Cure in Italy. Formed in Florence in 1996, the five-piece — Luca Licandro (vocals, guitar), Nicola Bella (guitar, keys), Francesco Coschino (guitar, keys), Francesco Riccioli (bass) and Lorenzo Gambacorta (drums) — have played hundreds of shows across Italy and abroad, recognised as an official tribute by the Italian Cure Fan Club. Their live show faithfully recreates the atmosphere of a real Cure concert, drawing the audience into Robert Smith's world of shimmering guitars and gothic romance. The original Cure, led by Robert Smith since 1978, are one of the defining bands of British new wave and gothic rock, with timeless anthems such as A Forest, Boys Don't Cry, Friday I'm in Love, Just Like Heaven, Lullaby and Lovesong, more than 30 million records sold worldwide and a 2019 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
