Pilson praises the energy of new vocalist Luis Maldonado and guitarist John Roth, stating the band is 'firing on all cylinders.' Addressing claims that Foreigner has become a tribute act, Pilson argues that Foreigner has always been about the songs rather than celebrity personalities. Mick Jones still oversees all major creative decisions from home to ensure his legacy is preserved.
While focused on the upcoming live album 'In the Eye of the Storm' (out July 17), Pilson also touched on his former band Dokken, leaving the door open for a potential final reunion. For now, Foreigner continues to prove that classic rock hits never go out of style.
