Legendary American rock band Aerosmith announced a spectacular return to live performance on October 7, 2026. Titled 'CALIFORNIA, DREAM ON: AEROSMITH & FRIENDS', the band will take over the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for two high-octane nights on October 29 and November 1, 2026.
An Unexpected Reunion
This news comes as a major shock to the music industry. Only two years ago, Aerosmith announced their permanent retirement from touring after lead singer Steven Tyler suffered a career-threatening vocal cord and larynx injury. This injury resulted in the cancellation of their farewell tour at the time. Now, the five original members are reunited and ready to perform once again.
The concerts are described as a monumental celebration of the band's history and enduring legacy as America’s Greatest Rock Band. A portion of the proceeds will benefit *Janie's Fund*, Steven Tyler’s philanthropic initiative for abused and neglected girls.
All-Star Guest List
Aerosmith will be joined by a massive roster of special guests and legendary artists. The confirmed lineup includes: - The Black Crowes and RUN DMC - Slash and Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) - Billy Idol and Steve Stevens - Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) - Heart and Sammy Hagar - Members of Alice In Chains and Extreme
The lineup will vary by night, and more surprise appearances are expected to be announced closer to showtime.
Ticket Information
Tickets for these historic nights go on sale this week. A Citi cardmember pre-sale begins on October 8, followed by an exclusive Aero Force One artist pre-sale on Friday, October 9. General ticket sales start on Saturday, October 10, 2026. For fans who thought the band's touring days were over in 2024, these shows represent a rare opportunity to witness the 'Bad Boys from Boston' live.
Tribute Connection
The resurgence of Aerosmith proves that the global demand for their signature rock sound remains massive. As the original band focuses on these exclusive US dates, European event organizers are seeing increased interest in their iconic hits like 'Sweet Emotion' and 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing'.
