After more than sixty years on the road, Rod Stewart is saying goodbye to touring life. In an Instagram video posted on 28 September 2026, he confirmed that next year's run will be his very last major tour.
The Final Encore Tour 2027
The European leg of The Final Encore opens on 23 April 2027 at the 3Arena in Dublin. Stops include Belfast, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London, followed by Amsterdam, Antwerp, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Budapest, Munich, Prague and Kraków. The tour wraps up on 24 July 2027 at the ZAG Arena in Hanover.
Crucially, Stewart stresses that he is not retiring. In his own words, this will be his last rock 'n' roll tour — not the end of his musical career. He has not said what he plans to do after 2027.
Earlier this year, Stewart had to cancel part of his North American One Last Time tour following health issues, including a routine stent procedure in August.
Six decades of Rod Stewart
Stewart has toured for more than six decades — solo, as a member of Faces and as the singer of the Jeff Beck Group. Along the way he built a catalogue spanning generations, from Sailing and Maggie May to You Wear It Well, Tonight's the Night and Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?.
